Trunk or Treat at the North Shore!

Join us at Athene North Shore Recreation Area for an evening of Halloween fun! The North Shore’s parking lot will offer a safe space to walk or roll from trunk to trunk collecting treats while showing off your costume. Continue on to the fun inside with Halloween-themed crafts and activities!

This event offers a sensory-friendly version of traditional Halloween fun. It has been thoughtfully planned to help minimize sensory overload, including no loud music, flashing or strobe lights, or startling jump scares that often are apart of Halloween festivities. While the decor will be festive, the environment will be welcoming for individuals with autism and other sensory sensitivities. Additionally, the universally designed space will offer a paved, flat surface for trunk or treating, and close access to accessible restrooms and universal changing spaces.
