Looking for an excuse to get out of the house, make some new friends, and learn about the exciting world of nature? Then join us! Iowa is a state with many unique, impressive, and important natural features. Together, our plants, animals, soils, and geography set Iowa apart from other states. Our state government has recognized the importance of these natural features by designating some as official state symbols. Come learn about some familiar and not so familiar state symbols.
